“New Nice rooftop star, small rooms”
Maison Albar Le Victoria is the newest, best-located hotel in its Nice patch — a rooftop restaurant guests call the top choice for view and food (though its menu still needs fish-led focus), great views and service overall, a well-equipped gym, and an easy-checkout finish. Duty manager Sebastian rescued a very late check-in with an upgrade after reception staff initially ignored a welcome. Gripes: the door is hard to find, rooms run small, superior and deluxe sea-view rooms felt identical, and breakfast is merely fine.
