Sina Flora is a small, quiet, well-kept hotel in central Capri — minutes' walk downhill from the funicular, near Augustus Gardens and Via Krupp, with the luxury street the other way; bags can be sent to the room from the port (paid). Big rooms with balconies or gardens, a lovely fresh pool, magnificent sea views, welcome drinks, a sea-view breakfast restaurant with polite waiters, and staff who remember room numbers. But two serious complaints: a sofa bed scraped three guests' legs, the room faced the hotel toilets, no swap was offered and no apology given until the booking platform won a partial fee waiver — and a rude unsmiling desk agent showed no care after the injury. Heavy air freshener also ruined one night's sleep.
