Albergo Gatto Bianco is an absolutely-amazing stay for most — an exceptional location at the center of Capri's shopping area, well-kept fairly-clean rooms, a perfect hotel and breakfast for a mother traveling alone with her daughter (staff kindly resolved a single-versus-double occupancy issue), very helpful always-smiling reception, and an owner, Andrea, who went the extra mile to secure Positano ferry tickets with staff waiting at the pier and running in the heat for another ticket. Caveats though: a dissent was placed not in the main building but a separate annex — a windowless room with a strange door on the other side — and another felt cleaning could go further.
