“La Fenice's charming San Marco spot”
Hotel La Fenice et des Artistes is a charming, well-maintained Venice hotel — an unbeatable quiet location for walking to San Marco, spacious super clean comfortable rooms, a rich delicious breakfast, outstanding value for Venice, and a welcoming attentive beneficial front desk; Russian and Spanish guests rave. Two room complaints: one faced a wall with almost no daylight — a significant letdown; another ran cold — the heater worked poorly and the fan died mid-stay.
