“Fortress-side Heraklion walkers’ base”
Lato Boutique Hotel Heraklion is a clean, comfortable hotel beside the fortress — a perfect walking location near attractions and the old centre, ten minutes on foot from the ferry, a rich breakfast buffet, pleasant spacious rooms with comfortable beds, and courteous faultless reception. Caveats: bed linens smelled off once, room-service phones went unanswered, smart-TV functions failed, and one arrival walked an hour from the airport along the safe seaside road.
