“Ibis Heraklion's port-side practicality”
Ibis Styles Heraklion Central is a friendly hotel near Heraklion port — close to the airport and ferries, a walkable spot for the museum, church and seaside, a rich breakfast, and kind front-desk staff. One severe dissent makes it their worst Greek hotel of the trip: a strange incense smell inside, poor insulation, three power cuts in two days (the last long, so bags had to be hauled down without the lift), day-one watermelon that tasted sour like leftovers, and bottled water supplied only on day one — maddening where tap water is undrinkable.
