“Karl Johan's Parliament perch”
Karl Johan Hotel is a very clean Oslo hotel right on Karl Johan street in front of Parliament — super comfortable quiet rooms, an amazing early-starting breakfast spread (a takeaway version thoughtfully arranged for early leavers), a ten-minute station walk, and friendly helpful staff. Caveats though: a family room felt cramped, and during a hotel-industry strike one guest got no cleaning, no egg station or fresh juices, and a weird wall-facing back room.
