Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is a great beachfront resort — a fantastic location right on the sand at Waikiki's quieter edge, a surf school next door, Beach Walk dining beside, quick check-in with bag help, pretty renovated oceanfront rooms, convenient shopping, lots of activities (free daily ones plus paid boat trips), good food and cocktails, and friendly staff; a morning turtle delighted. The complaints: a small beach, a small tub-less bathroom, evening live-music audible from pool-facing balconies, a two-towel-card system with a lost-card fee, very dear parking, and slight night noise.
