“Pan Pacific's atrium”
Pan Pacific Singapore is a very clean lovely stay — a grand deconstructivist lobby with an open atrium that photographs beautifully, a fast almost-queueless check-in, a clean spacious club room bigger than same-rate peers with a full minibar, ironing, coffee and tea, quality bathroom hardware, an attentive warm team including Chinese speakers, a rich breakfast spanning western, Singaporean and Indian counters with made-to-order eggs and fresh juice, close to the tourist attractions. Caveats though: the in-room dryer plug does not fit the bathroom outlet, amenities differed between rooms, lounge access rules felt stingy after checkout, and the Japanese station had miso but no rice.
