“The Alfond's laptop rescue”
The Alfond Inn is a renovated independent hotel walkable to Park Avenue shops and Winter Park — clean beautiful rooms, an exceptional restaurant (crab cake, brioche and ribs praised), a lively bar and art, and mostly professional staff: Jessica and Hoor recovered and internationally shipped a forgotten laptop within days. Caveats though: one guest found staff cold for the money, the restaurant AC blasted, and parking is valet-based. Rollins visitors get a booking discount.
