On an excellent location with convenient parking, QT Queenstown delivers unbeatable views — choose a lake-view room: a great-designed lake-facing room, attentive superb customer service that arranges things easily, a wide varied breakfast called the best since Christchurch, comprehensive facilities, impeccable cleanliness and daily free wine, chocolate and cookies in the lobby. Complaints though: ongoing renovation moved reception to the basement without notice — guests lugged bags between floors, one family got twin rooms split across different floors and areas with stairs, corridors smell of renovation, navigation still points at the old building, and the shower runs weak with unstable temperature.
