“Delhi's helpful base”
About ten minutes by rickshaw from Delhi station — use the ticket-taxi stand as touts there scam — Novotel New Delhi City Centre is a very clean affordable stay on a nice location: extremely helpful available attentive staff who even arranged travel, meals and vehicles for a worried Japan guest and lent the rooftop gym-and-pool showers before a night flight, a lovely pool, and a very good varied breakfast strong on Indian options with fresh-made dosa delivered. Two nits: the area is noisy, as is much of Delhi, and the open-plan washbasin space was awkward.
