Gyeongwonjae by Walkerhill is a great traditional stay — stunning Korean architecture (an MBC drama filming location with a chaebol-mansion feel that rewards hanbok photos), a great traditional-culture experience, a very nice environment, and a beautiful park right behind the hotel for evening strolls. Caveats though: a dissent found everything beyond the architecture underwhelming — a nonexistent concierge for luggage, and disappointment that the hotel offered no gesture even when a birthday was flagged.
