Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery is a rich-history retreat on the city's busiest street opposite the biggest mall — a slightly-dated but well-kept Dutch-era building cluster, large comfortable rooms, two beautiful gardens and European courtyards, a pool nestled in greenery, a complete gym, a rich delicious breakfast, photogenic Nanyang styling, and good kind service. Caveats though: one guest found the sofa and carpet unclean despite clean linens; the entrance runs lively at night.
