“Danube tower stay”
A short hop from central Vienna — line-1 metro handy, the EGU conference venue very close — Melia Vienna is a really great loved-it stay: a spacious bright big room with floor-to-ceiling Danube views, Hansgrohe fittings, great lighting and AC, a rich can't-fault all-western breakfast, a highlight gym with treadmills facing the river, a low-key luxurious black-toned design, warm front-desk service and good value. Nits: no privacy sheer curtain, dust-trapping carpet and a creaky window.
