Two steps from Nathan Road near the MTR and high-speed rail, The Kowloon Hotel earns excellent never-felt-so-good praise: close to attractions the harbour the arts centre and K11, a glad-last-minute-booking verdict, a good-attitude check-in, a reasonably big room, comfortable slippers and every-trip loyalty. Cautions though: weak soundproofing carrying neighbour noise, toiletries sold at reception, a cracked bathtub, and a TV with streaming apps but no internet to run them.
