“Plaza Mayor's solid Madrid base”
Catalonia Plaza Mayor is a clean, well-situated Madrid hotel — two hundred metres from the L1 metro, walkable to the Palace, Plaza Mayor, Prado and Reina Sofia, a Dia supermarket close, a real double bed rather than pushed twins, comfortable bedding, a big bathroom with strong shower pressure, free bottled water with more on request, a rich good-quality breakfast, and excellent friendly check-in; guests gave a quieter room on request. One note: a window faced neighbours' laundry. A management reply is excluded.
