“Giorgione's canal-side charm, theft warning”
Hotel Giorgione is a cozy, quiet Venice hotel in a peaceful alley — spacious loft rooms, a lovely small garden, luggage help, water-bus access four stops out, a suite good for couples, a decent breakfast (stiff bread once), polite staff, and a bonus pool — though it is really an oversized jacuzzi limited to thirty-minute advance-booked slots, which disappointed guests who booked for a lazy pool day. Two severe allegations: a guest reports cash missing while touring — the desk denied anyone entered; they found other victims online alleging staff hold a master key to safes. Beware this hotel.
