“Compact Brussels base, cobbled approach”
Motel One Brussels is a fresh-feeling, impeccable-value stay — clean cozy rooms with big windows, a lovely lobby, a supermarket opposite, walking distance to the Grand Place, quiet surroundings, good service and an arrival-day cancellation policy that helped one guest. It's compact though: rooms get cramped for two with luggage and there's no fridge. From the station it's uphill over cobblestones and works in progress — take a taxi with heavy bags.
