“Motel One Edinburgh-Royal's station-side stay”
Motel One Edinburgh-Royal is a clean, modern Edinburgh hotel — a great location moments from the station and the airport express bus, quiet rooms with space for two big suitcases and a comfortable bed, and friendly staff. The complaints outweigh convenience for some: a severe allegation — a traveler through fifty-three countries reported seven hundred fifty dollars in cash stolen, CCTV reportedly showing staff entering repeatedly while the hotel insisted there was no proof; small rooms, one with a blocked window; no in-room phone meant a duvet request needed two trips and a call; the delivered duvet was tiny inside a big cover; basic amenities and sheets with unwashable marks; a room beside the garbage area; and small stairs to reception complicate luggage.
