“Design-forward Edinburgh stay, one disaster”
Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is a design-rich boutique by Victoria Street — photogenic spaces, a clever entry that turns the corridor artistic, comfortable beds, warm passionate staff, delicious restaurant food and pizza, a varied breakfast (à-la-carte less distinctive), and a great walkable location near the station and sights. One stay collapsed though: a six-pm arrival waited till eight for a room that felt hostel-grade, housekeeping was perfunctory enough to demand re-sheeting, and no compensation followed.
