“voco Haymarket's friendly Edinburgh base”
voco Edinburgh - Haymarket is a clean, comfortable hotel ~1.5km from Waverley — a good English buffet breakfast, fantastic amenities, accommodating staff (one desk agent warmly tried Chinese), and a decent room size; returning guests still rate it good. Notes: windows do not open, a first room smelled until an upgrade fixed it, one duvet was lumpy with bare patches even after swapping, a corner room faced a narrow slit view, taxis were hard to hail, it sits slightly out of the way, and the rate exceeded students' expectations.
