“Vetera Matera's cave rooms”
Vetera Matera is a cave-room hotel many call perfection — unique equally-charming rooms, a fabulous spa, a superb breakfast, a perfect spot for exploring Matera on foot with off-season dining still plentiful, and top-notch staff for most. One severe dissent though: staff recommended an outside restaurant where the guests paid an exorbitant amount and fell sick, and when they raised it with management the next day they reported being insulted — souring the stay despite the lovely setting.
