“Planters' historic split”
Planters Inn is a very historic Charleston heart-of-town stay — beautiful big rooms with giant king beds and plenty of summer air conditioning, a location feet from the market and entertainment, and great service for most. Caveats though: a severe report describes paying extra for a balcony then landing a corner room beside the maid closet whose door slams open onto carts each morning — with no balcony; another pans toilet paper worse than a filling station, and parking runs forty dollars daily.
