“Emeline's festive split”
Hotel Emeline is a beautiful Charleston stay — big rooms (a little dark for one), a decorated courtyard with a burning outdoor fireplace, a great location for College of Charleston visits, celebrity sightings, an accepted modest suite upgrade, excellent valet staff, and great restaurant recommendations. Caveats though: a severe report describes a used band-aid in the bed suggesting unchanged sheets, musty dank hallways, an unfriendly desk, and a room sharing a wall with a bar — bottle clatter, scraping stools, and a jazz band.
