“Read House's historic Chattanooga”
The Read House Hotel is a beautiful 152-year-old downtown Chattanooga landmark — well-maintained historic rooms (one ran large), an excellent Bridgeman's dinner, a great bar, and excellent caring service. Caveats though: the desk felt stern once, valet parking carries a daily charge plus tax, one room's water ran lukewarm with a barely-heated bathroom, the gym disappoints, and the pool ran too hot.
