“Charming Avenida base with a noisy flank”
Heritage Avenida Liberdade is a characterful, spotless townhouse-style hotel in central Lisbon where guests love the traditional decor, the excellent breakfast served until noon followed by tea and cakes, and a lobby that feels like home — comfortable sofas with free coffee, lemonade, snacks and even wine at any hour, plus luggage storage. Staff are friendly and efficient with good restaurant tips. One meaningful complaint: a rear-facing room beside external air-conditioning units suffered low-frequency night noise that ruined sleep, and a promised room change never happened. Most guests still recommend it warmly.
