“Literary Quarter stay”
Right on the plaza in the Literary Quarter — near Santa Ana, Sol and Congreso with metro, buses and endless restaurants, and quieter nights since the area doesn't party — Room Mate Alicia is a clean well-situated stay: spacious rooms, a delicious varied breakfast, ideal cleanliness and comfortable beds and pillows. Serious cautions though: the hotel is mid-renovation (the facade wrapped in scaffolding and tarps robbed a suite's view and hid the front door) one guest felt the works deserved more than two days' notice, and another flatly called it terrible and to look elsewhere.
