“Family-run Amalfi gem near the pier”
Hotel Marina Riviera is a family-run hotel in a perfect Amalfi spot — a five-to-ten-minute flat walk from the ferry pier, sparing the luggage haul that cliffside hotels demand, with easy boats to Sorrento and Positano. Sea-view balcony rooms are stunning, housekeeping leaves adorable Italian notes, and staff park cars and go the extra mile. The rooftop pool is a sun trap and breakfast is called fantastic or perfection. Two small notes: the parking area up the road fills by mid-afternoon, and room-service sandwiches disappointed once. Otherwise guests are emphatic about returning.
