“The Study's Penn”
The Study at University City, Study Hotels is a stay where the location carries the load — an unbeatable spot for visiting UPenn or Drexel, about ten minutes' walk to anywhere on campus, with rich tasty food for some. Caveats though are significant: multiple reports call service below par — an uninterested unhelpful receptionist, understaffing at busy move-in times, no housekeeping at all across a two-night stay, no kettle, coffee or tea in the room, a disappointing Coop restaurant, a breakfast spread not worth it, charged parking, and an overall poor-value feel; guests say they would not stay except for Penn itself.
