Hotel Barocco is a very clean, elegant Rome hotel — kind courteous front desk, cheerful friendly restaurant service, a delicious filling breakfast, sparkling wine gifted to honeymooners, and staff so conscientious that guests return six years later to familiar faces. Rooms are compact in the European way but spotless with good shower pressure, plenty of outlets and storage. The metro is at the door and the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are walkable.
