The Westgate Hotel is a very good classic stay — a European-styled grand-decor hotel near the Gaslamp Quarter and perfect for Petco Park, lively streets below with convenient transport, large clean if slightly-dated rooms, sea views from the high floors, a nice pool, an easy check-in, and a nice helpful server team.
