The Bower Coronado is an excellent posh boutique — a great location across Orange Avenue from the pricier busier Hotel Del (five minutes to the Del and beach, near restaurants and shops), small-to-decent very well-decorated rooms, extreme cleanliness, a friendly team who leave super personal checkout notes, a loved morning coffee-tea service and pastries, and the rooftop Dive Bar — exceptional eats and drinks with an uncrowded sunset view; romantic-weekend and business guests both rebook. Minor notes: Orange Avenue frontage runs a little noisy and one guest was assigned an ADA room with a disliked bathroom layout.
