“Opposite Zurich HB, tiny rooms”
Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich sits directly opposite Zurich HB — cross the road from the platforms — making it ideal for rail-heavy Switzerland itineraries and luggage-laden transit days. Staff are friendly, kind and impeccable, breakfast is a decent spread with slightly few choices, and rooms are peaceful. The clear caveat: rooms are very small — two big suitcases cannot open flat — and one guest found no value beyond the location, recommending it only for station-stopover travelers.
