“St. Gotthard's Bahnhofstrasse staple”
Hotel St.Gotthard is a wonderful Zurich hotel — an outstanding location on Bahnhofstrasse steps from the main station and ten minutes to the Old Town, clean basic-to-spacious rooms (an upgraded executive suite overlooked the street), a superb breakfast, a beautiful atmosphere, and attentive friendly staff; third-stay loyalty. The complaints: one repeat guest met a smile-less receptionist forced to work — training urged; an executive suite's unused TV living room felt wasteful; a missing hand shower; and no-rate tweaks for unneeded space.
