One11 Hotel is a cool, clean design property walkable to the French Quarter and Convention Center — quiet, safe and secure, a beautiful rooftop lounge for evening snacks, a comfortable bed with perfect pillows, loved bathroom amenities, included water bottles, and staff who quickly moved guests when the AC failed. Recurring complaints: trains pass several times a night (earplugs are provided), road noise and thin walls disturb sleep, the breakfast is awful — bread, yogurt and fruit slices only — and the bartender looked annoyed at questions.
