Raffles Dubai is a uniquely pyramid-styled twenty-year-old gem attached to Egypt-themed Wafi mall — impeccably maintained, with spacious spotless rooms, wide balconies, Burj Khalifa views from upper floors, extremely friendly staff, free valet parking, a Carrefour and mall next door, and a table-ordered breakfast where made-to-order dishes arrive quickly. It needs a little polish in places: afternoon tea at the Salon and breakfast at Azur rated only average, and the listed six-o'clock breakfast actually starts at seven.
