“Rufflets' garden estate stay”
Rufflets St Andrews is a historic estate ten minutes outside town — some of the finest gardens guests have seen, a romantic French-style setting with wheat fields, spacious family suites, convenient onsite parking, an excellent restaurant guests rated above the town's French spots, a good breakfast, a praised bartender mixing the best mojitos, and very friendly staff. Real caveats: a tiny perplexing washroom with no towel hooks, miserably slow shower pressure, a stubborn toilet flush, a very hard guest-cottage bed — the lodge rooms are better — no elevator or air conditioning, an understaffed bar, and cabs or a car needed for town.
