“Mac Rae's Catalina ease”
Hotel Mac Rae is a clean charming stay — an old Avalon hotel steps from the beach, restaurants, shopping and the water, upstairs rooms that avoid street noise, a comfortable bed, a big-plus complimentary breakfast, an unbeatable location for the rate, and so-friendly welcoming staff — Maria went above and beyond; guests have returned for years. Caveats though: it is a simple old building — stairs only, no elevator and no posh amenities.
