“Alvino Relais' Matera walk”
Alvino Relais Mulino Contemporaneo is a beautiful Matera-area stay — a fifteen-to-twenty-five-minute walk to the Sassi (perfect for walking off pizza), ample onsite parking that lets the car sit all trip, comfortable beds, a relaxing pool area, a delicious evening meal, an excellent varied breakfast, and exceptional helpful staff wherever encountered. The warnings: the pool was closed for one stay, a Saturday wedding restricted facilities and parties run loud until late, dining options are limited, the AC loses effectiveness with curtains drawn, and the door buzzer is excessively loud.
