“The Palmetto's downtown pick”
The Palmetto Hotel, Charleston is a loved central boutique — amazingly-decorated unique rooms, hallways, lobby, and bar, quiet comfortable tiny-but-fine rooms, a liked morning breakfast, a perfect walkable location for restaurants and downtown, and kind inviting helpful staff; one trip crowned it their favorite hotel. Caveats though: breakfast really is limited, and valet parking — pricey — is the only practical option given Charleston's uneven sidewalks.
