“Florence's caravaggio hotel”
Walkable to the SMN station, famous sights and groceries — a park with a drinking fountain at the door — Hotel Caravaggio is a loved simple stay: friendly multilingual super attentive staff who traced a phone left in a taxi, a very clean 19th-century Florentine feel, a lovely buffet breakfast, an evening bar, a kettle in the room and good high-floor views. Cautions: a very small room, loud early-morning garbage trucks on street-facing rooms, book the courtyard, a door that would not lock for one guest and cash-only city tax.
