Hotel Renew is a small, clean Honolulu hotel — a great location near the beach, zoo, aquarium, shopping and food, a quick Uber from the airport, clear check-in explanations, friendly staff and a nice valet, and a good rate for expensive Hawaii. The complaints: a Korean warning that no hot water came — pay a little more and go somewhere better; weak shower pressure with a fixed head makes washing hard; it's quite old; and there's no in-room coffee maker.
