“Waikiki's beach marriott”
Right on the sand with ABC Stores and a Starbucks at its feet, Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is a wonderful second-stay favourite: a nice balcony room over the core view, great staff and valet, a free towel-lending machine by the beach, a communal kitchen for takeaways, an upstairs bar and pool with beautiful night views, walkable everything and fair value. Cautions though: a balcony railing judged slightly unsafe for small children, renovation noise running five hours one morning — compensated — and expensive parking.
