Alohilani Resort is a smaller-feeling Waikiki hotel directly opposite Kuhio Beach — a brilliant lobby oceanarium, Diamond Head partial-ocean views, happy-hour mai tais and live music at the Swell pool bar, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, and easy walks to restaurants and central Waikiki. Notes: very cold pool water and an uncleaned AC once, a mediocre view room, no sauna or steam room, unexplained resort points, and a booking system that needed one card per room.
