“Waikiki's resort hotel”
Five minutes' walk from the sand amid restaurants and bars, Waikiki Resort Hotel earns cost-efficient very satisfied marks for many: super helpful staff, honest housekeeping, a free breakfast, borrowed kettle and pool towels, a partial ocean view and strong recommend intent. Cautions though: a grandma's-house dated feel — black tub mould and a faintly smelly pillow for one — plus an only-okay buffet better skipped for local eats.
