“Waikiki's white sands”
A local-feeling hotel in the heart of Waikiki's busiest strip, White Sands Hotel is a nice convenient stay for many: clean-feeling spacious rooms, a small courtyard pool and cozy balconies, an atmospheric attached bar, the easiest walking access to every sight and nice staff. Dissents though: a severe report of a black-ant-infested bathroom, dust-debris floors and an undisclosed jacuzzi closure, plus no lift, a neighbour-building outlook, a slow check-in, a surly bartender, night bar chatter near ground-floor rooms, sparse amenities and first-floor insects.
