Within walking distance of the action yet out of the mix, The Betsy Hotel, South Beach is an enjoyed immensely stay for many: fabulous decor and location, extremely friendly helpful staff — two named — one of the best-ever visits and a definite return. Serious complaints though: very overpriced food and beverage, a small-wardrobe okay room with a failed handheld shower, blocked sink and broken plug, a not-worth-it breakfast and last rude valets that one guest said cost the return.
