Donatella Boutique Hotel is a six-room Miami Beach oasis styled like the Amalfi coast — large modern gorgeous rooms above an extraordinary restaurant, tremendous rain-shower bathrooms and travertine walls, an elegant Serena suite, bar-side check-in, warm hosts (Alfonso and Fedele praised), a beautiful quiet prime spot, and an outstanding downstairs dinner with incredible lemon dessert. The quirks: very loud restaurant music at night stopped one guest's sleep, the operation feels under-managed with a restaurant-first focus, one room lacked a bathroom door, steps challenge suitcases, and a room offered one chair for two guests.
