The Chanler at Cliff Walk is a beautiful Gilded-Age Newport mansion — impressive comfortable rooms with fireplaces and heated bathroom floors, direct access to the gorgeous cliff walk, near-magical grounds, a high-level menu and cocktails, fabulous decor, and excellent caring staff; sixth-time guests still find it amazing. One caveat: the jetted tub's outlets looked unclean once.
